R.I.P: K-Swift

k-swift-obituary-thumbnail.jpg

Popular Baltimore DJ and “Club Queen” Khia “K-Swift” Edgerton passed away suddenly on July 21, 2008 at the age of 29.

K-Swift had a distinctive voice and mixing style. She ruled the Baltimore club scene and her club tapes were famous across the globe. I’ve come across several of her mix tapes online and they were always posted by club lovers who had gotten their hands on her tapes overseas. K-Swift was a very driven woman and she accomplished a lot in her short years. She was true role model for the children of Baltimore.

This is a tremendous loss for the 92Q and Radio Once family, the Baltimore Club scene, and radio lovers everywhere. Public viewing and funeral information can be found on the 92Q website.

Our prayers and condolences go out to her family, friends, fans, and the 92Q family.

Until next time,
Janis
